I never set out to build Velvet Fern Creative

I built my career designing websites for high-stakes industries—where trust, authority, and strategy ruled everything. I thrived in that world, mastering UX, project efficiency, and client collaboration.

But something was missing. Creativity. Storytelling. Soul.

Then, one Saturday, I wandered into a local plant shop and whispered to my friend, “I’d love to build the website for this place.”

Turns out, I don’t whisper quietly.

The owner overheard me, and before I knew it, we started the process that day. That was the spark. What started as a side project turned into Velvet Fern Creative—a boutique web design agency where creatives come to bring their digital storytelling to life.
