I’ve always been obsessed with all web design. At 10, my mom took me to a library class on “The World Wide Web.” (Yes, that was mandatory way back then.) Out of her four kids, she knew I’d be the one glued to the screen, captivated by this new digital world. She was right.

That tech interest never really left. Even when life took me on a few detours first.

How I Got Here

I didn’t study computer science like I wanted to. Music paid for college through scholarships, but my degree wasn’t the real education—I was learning how to create experiences that move people. That skill has followed me everywhere.

That early love for web design? It came rushing back when I built a website for my yoga therapy business. And suddenly, I knew—I was more obsessed with designing the site than running the business itself.

That realization changed everything.

Becoming the Expert My Clients Need

I dove into UX design, SEO, and digital strategy at a large marketing agency. My boss gave me advice that shaped my entire approach: “Become the expert your clients need.”

I ran with that.

I mastered site architecture, SEO, and conversion strategies—not just to complete projects, but to guide clients with confidence. My boss began to have a saying: “If a site came to us as a mess, we assigned it to Stacie.”

Complex builds became my specialty, and I quickly advanced to senior creative lead.
